All dogs listed for adoption have received a full vet exam including spay or neuter, dental cleaning, all vaccinations and shots required by Texas law, heartworm test, and any medical treatment needed to assure the dog's health and well being. They are socialized and assessed for temperament and behavior issues.

August 2005 - After 13 years Buster's family left him at the local shelter. This poor little guy had been severely neglected for a long time, his hair was horribly matted and he reeked of urine. Despite his poor condition Buster is in good spirits and loves to give kisses! He is a sweetheart and his tail is always wagging.

Buster is an absolute sweetheart!
He is 13 years old, blind, and is heartworm positive.

Since being in rescue Buster has had a senior wellness check and blood panel, he has been neutered and is now current on all vaccinations. He also had a complete dental including 3 extractions, scaling and polishing. Buster will begin heartworm treatment soon.

Buster is an wonderful dog! He is completely house trained, crate trained, likes other dogs, loves people, and is always smiling and wagging his tail. Buster deserves the very best in his senior years and will make a devoted and loving companion.

UPDATE:
Buster continues with heartworm treatment and is doing really well. He wants to thank everyone for giving him a second chance!

2006 UPDATE:
BUSTER HAS BEEN ADOPTED!
