Andy is a very loving and affectionate
scottie. He is an owner release that was used for breeding
and has now been retired. Andy is crate trained, house trained
(likes doggie doors), and will whine when he needs to go outside.
Andy is full of scottie personality!
He sits up for treats, waves his paws for attention,
and loves to rub his beard on the floor and roll on his back.
Andy tends to be possessive of his humans and toys and would not
be good with young children. He craves attention and does not like
to be left alone for more than a few hours each day. Andy needs
a home where his owners can spend quality time with him on a daily basis.
He has a lot of energy and loves to go for morning and afternoon
walks.
Andy has a history of ear infections and will need to have
his ears cleaned and checked on a monthly basis.
Andy will make some lucky person or family a wonderful
friend and companion.
Update 1/26/05: Andy tested negative for HW,
was neutered, received all required vaccinations (rabies, distemper/parvo),
a bordetella shot, and his fecal test was negative for worms. Andy
is also being treated for ear infections (4+ rod bacteria/pseudomonas
and cocci bacteria) and will need to be rechecked in 14 days.
Update 2/11/05: Andy's ears are much better but
he still has a mild yeast infection. Medication: ottomax ointment
for 7 days.
Update 3/26/05: Andy has been adopted!
